Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is one of today’s most versatile and efficient energy sources. Derived during crude oil refining or extracted from natural gas production, LPG is known for its portability, cleanliness, and cost-effectiveness.

As such, it gains traction in various sectors, powering everything from homes to industries. Ghana introduced LPG in 1990 and till date has been widely used and accepted as the source of cooking fuel and auto fuel in many homes, businesses and vehicles across the country.

Domestic and businesses use cylinders and small tanks (1-10 tons) as the storage accessories for their cooking activities. Vehicles are fitted with specialized tanks to provide the needed energy.
