The company has established Cylinder Exchange Points (CEPs) at various locations. The
Customer can walk in with an empty branded cylinder and pay for the content for a refilled one. Alternatively, the Customer can use the different channels to make an order for delivery to be done.
Yes, a customer can exchange multiple cylinders at the beginning of signing up and subsequently when the need arises.
Each cylinder will be filled according to the Ghana Standard
Authority (GSA) requirement of 85% of the volume of the cylinder. Each
cylinder will undergo strict checks for any overfill, underfill or leakage before
being supplied to the customer. In case of any anomaly attributed to the
company, the bottle will be changed.
The company will have calibrated and certified scales by the Ghana Standard Authority (GSA) at the Cylinder. Exchange Points (CEPs). However, during delivery to the premises of customers, there will be no scale for any verification of the weight.
Customers are assured the company will provide the right quantities. When
in doubt, customers are encouraged to visit the nearest CEP to conduct the
exchange.
Yes, the company has regulators, commercial stoves, hoses and others for sale. Some of the items are provided as part of the initial sign-ups for free, but the customer can also
purchase others if the need arises.
No, refer to point 5 & 6. Per the NPA CRM Policy, after swapping the
cylinder is incorporated into the pool of the company, and hence the
customer loses the right to ownership after a period.
Xpress Gas is providing certified. Branded Cylinders to users. By law every Cylinder must be retested or requalified 10 years after the manufacturing and tested date. Most users are not aware of the requirement and hence not able to adhere to it. Again, the government policy is to reduce the burden of user purchasing their own
cylinders. When a user hands over their cylinders, the company will use it as deposit for the release of the new cylinder to the user.
